♛ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ♛

VISUAL ☆ saionji does not look Great. sure, he's pretty, with long curly hair most people would die for (even if it's green) and dark violet eyes, but he's sort of permanently tired seeming, and is also like 6'4. nothing about his vibe screams Approach Me.
FASHION ☆ saionji dresses like he has money, which he does, but like...come on. you know? he favors a more muted look with lots of layers. he also inexplicably wears glasses that are either decorative and therefore don't matter or prescription and he neglects wearing them most of the time. thank you, beloved.
DEMEANOR ☆ while nowhere near as openly violent as his younger self, saionji is pretty hostile to everyone, especially people he deems are mocking him (could be anyone). he has a weirdly strong sense of justice, so if he sniffs you out as being a shitty person, odds are you're not gonna have a good time. otherwise, he's distant and awkward and very shy. he doesn't get to show off much these days.
AURAL ☆ saionji has a very nice voice that can become very unpleasant when he's angry (often) and starts yelling.
OLFACTORY ☆ saionji wears expensive cologne that can't hide how he always smells a little like roses.
MENTAL ☆ HAHA...UM...saionji's mind is tumultuous and a little bit shattered. he can't remember most of his adolescence accurately (for Magic and Trauma reasons) and spends most of his life in quiet turmoil. he's learned how to manage it very well to be able to function in a professional capacity but the smallest trigger can set him off.
MEDICAL ☆ literally perhaps his only winning quality is that he's in great health
MAGICAL ☆ saionji's magical aura suggests that there is something more to him, like a weird lettucey piñata. he's very unassuming on the outside, just looking like some guy, but characters with some magical perception will recognize that he has something quite literally inside of him. take a look. it's right behind his ribs.
ABILITIES ☆ saionji, like all utena characters, possesses a Heart Sword, something that can be unlocked through a deep connection with someone else. it's just a very powerful, very strong sword that comes out of him under the right circumstances, its power dependent on the strength of the bond he shares with whoever draws it and wields it.

ANYTHING ELSE? ☆ this version of saionji is from an official spinoff manga set 20 years after the original series. there are some changes, both minor and major, to the backstories of the main characters prior to the main story taking place, but the only one that affects saionji in any large capacity is that his parents die of an unknown illness that sweeps through the area he grows up in.
